Requirement to Register Assistants
Licensees are required to register their ATAP prior to allowing the ATAP to assist in psychological duties. ATAP Applications may be administratively reviewed and approved. However, some circumstances will require further review and may result in delays. Those circumstances include, but may not be limited to, the following:
- the application is received after date of/anticipated date of utilization of the ATAP in the provision of psychological services;
- a supervisor is requesting to register more than 5 ATAPs;
- the existence of disciplinary or criminal history;
- the application indicates practice beyond limitations set forth in the rules and regulations of the Board.
